At AERZEN, we also develop bulk vehicle blowers for installation in silo trucks and tankers, with extended pressure differentials reaching up to 1.5 bar. Cement manufacturers have the option of getting cement blowers with either a three-lobe or two-lobe rotor design.
The design with three-lobe rotors features a cylinder with cast-in, pre-inlet channels at the discharge side. This design minimises the sound thanks to its pulsation reduction and has a speed range between 1450 and 4800 1/min. However, you can install it only vertically since its flow direction is vertical.
his model seals the conveying chamber with a carbon ring labyrinth seal and the driving shaft with a radial seal ring.
In the two-lobe rotor design:
The robust three-lobe blower systems present three-lobe rotors and two cast-in pre-inlet channels in their discharge-sided cylinder section, minimizing the sound through pulsation reduction. These blower systems suit a broad range of challenging applications, including the oil-free conveying and compression of gases and air.
The blower comes in 22 different sizes, from GM 3 S to GM 1080 L. The blower cylinders in the GM 3 S up to the GM 400 L models are undivided while, from the GM 430 S models onwards, the cylinders are divided horizontally. The feet at the blowers are bolted on up to the GM 80 L, while those on larger sizes are cast on.
Four piston ring labyrinths seal the conveying chambers with oil singers at every shaft end. However, you can get four radial seal ring-piston labyrinth seals on request. A radial seal ring seals the blower’s driving shaft.
