The requirement was demanding: a volume flow of 10,500 m³/h at an underpressure of -400 mbar had to be guaranteed. As if that wasn't enough, the positive pressure, which is normally discharged into the atmosphere with a silencer, also had to be integrated into the customer’s existing heat recovery system.
Aerzen Rental provided two AERZEN BVO 5500 N type blowers from its rental fleet, which met the production requirements with a total delivery volume of around 12,000 m³/h.
The rental solution was used for a period of eight weeks - exactly the length of time it took to overhaul the existing machines.
Transparency through operating data acquisition
A particular advantage of Aerzen Rental’s solution was the provision of detailed operating data. As with all rental machines, pressure, volume flow and operating time were continuously recorded, providing Hollingsworth & Vose with precise data for the configuration of a new machine. That's where Aerzen Germany came into play: based on the values determined, our experts were able to offer a customised new machine.
