To keep up with the growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager (UK North) to strengthen our team.
Function:
- Manage Northern UK customer base for both Capital Sales of the Aerzen range of products and After Sales parts/repairs/site services for the Aerzen range of products, covering pre-allocated geographical region.
- Providing day to day Sales and After Sales account management support to all customers in allotted area (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Northumberland).
- Business development with existing and new customers to generate profitable orders of specified plant and services.
- Work closely with the Aerzen capital sales, after sales and rental teams to ensure every Aerzen opportunity is maximised and in doing so customers are made aware of the joined-up service the Company provides. • Implementing sales plan as agreed with Managing Director.
- Achieving agreed sales and profit targets.
- Set-up and staffing of exhibitions throughout the UK as directed by the Marketing Team and Managing Director.
- Site visits are expected to our customer's premises. These include Sewage Treatment Plants, Factories, Cement Plants, Flour Mills and Paper Mills amongst others.
Profile:
- HND in Engineering or equivalent. (Preferred) (A proven track record in a related industry may be a suitable alternative to a formal qualification)
- Suitably experienced in both Sales and Applications Engineering within the Water, Pneumatic Conveying, or Materials Handling Industries. (Preferred)
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Based from home in appropriate location to cover sales area.
- Good presentation and analytical skills and experience are essential to this position.
- Good contract negotiation skills and experience are essential.
- A full driving licence is essential.
